Free Audition Classes

Are you interested in being in one of our productions but you don't know what to expect when it comes to auditions? Come to our FREE audition class! Each Saturday before auditions, there is a free audition class at the theater from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Whether you are new to theater, or you have auditioned multiple times, this is a great class to take in order to prepare for auditions! We'll get you up on stage and feeling comfortable about performing in front of folks you may not know. Is your child not comfortable reading yet? No problem! Is he or she shy, but wants to participate? That's our specialty! We love it when kiddos want to grow and stretch, and our audition class is just the first step.

In this class you will learn:

-The history of the theater

-The mission of TAC at the Lake

-How to do a cold read for auditions

-Tips on how to have a great audition

-Hints for a musical audition song choice

In addition, you will get to tour the theater and ask any questions you have. Parents, please attend the class with your child.
